Linda Sue Evans' Obituary
Linda Sue Evans, age 69 of Gainesville, FL passed away Friday, January 10, 2020. She was born September 18, 1950 in Beaver, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Ruth Vonstein Metzler.
She lived a Happy Good life. She and her husband Melvin were evangelists for over 40 years. Both were licensed ministers.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Melvin; son Ivan A. Evans; daughter, Tracie Lanfair; brother, Dwight Pollock; seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda Spurlock.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 17, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street. The funeral will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Calvin E. Manker, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of God, 3201 NE 25th Avenue Ocala, Florida 34479.
