Mrs. Lillie Jane Norris "Bobbie" Hulslander's Obituary
Mrs. Lillie Jane Norris “Bobbie” Hulslander, 79, longtime resident of Hawthorne, Florida, died Sunday, September 6, 2015 in the Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka, following a long illness.
Mrs. Hulslander was born on December 12, 1935 in White Springs, Florida, to the late D. Forest and Marie Box Norris. She later lived in Jacksonville and then Gainesville, where she worked for many years for James Moore & Co., C. P. A.’s. Mrs. Hulslander moved to Hawthorne in 1975, and then began to work for herself as a bookkeeper and tax preparer. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hawthorne, the Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Club , Hawthorne Lions Club and Moose Lodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John Videon in 1983, and by Mr. Merle Hulslander in 2003, and by the love of her life, Mr. Steve Lott, in 2013. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Aimee Lewis in 2005.
Survivors include; three daughters, Cindy (Paul) Lott, of Fredericksburg, VA; Debbie (Steve) Lewis, of Tallahassee, and Linda (Roger) Dawalt, of Summerville, SC; one son, Wayne Geiger, of West Palm Beach; three sisters, Shellie Hines, of Jacksonville, Ethel McDonald, of Lake City, and Ellinor Wiggins, of Live Oak; three grandchildren, Melissa Lewis, of Tallahassee, and Jacob and Michael Dawalt, both of Summerville, SC.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday September 10, 2015 at 10:00 A. M., in the Chapel of the WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME HAWTHORNE, U. S. 301 South at Lake Avenue, with Dr. L.D. Osteen officiating. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 P. M., in the Corinth Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 5 to 7 P. M., at the funeral home.
