Lidia G. Luchetta's Obituary
Lidia G. Luchetta, known affectionately as Nona, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2024, in Gainesville, Florida at the age of 85. Born on May 7, 1939, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she was the cherished daughter of Vicente and Amelia Gatto.
Nona was celebrated for being the most loving and forgiving person. Her unique presence brought immense joy and warmth to everyone around her. She is survived by a loving family: her husband Roberto J. Luchetta; her son Gabriel Luchetta; daughters Marisa Luchetta and daughter-in-law Tania Luchetta; and her grandchildren, Alex Luchetta, Chelsea Todd, Garrett Luchetta, and Taylor Todd and great grandson Lukas Luchetta.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A service to honor her life will be held at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida, on July 27, 2024 at 2pm. More details can be found at Haven Hospice website.
The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to local Humane Animal societies in remembrance of Nona's compassionate spirit.
The arrangements for her final farewell are being handled by William - Thomas Funeral Home, located in Gainesville, Florida. Lidia's grace and kindness will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
