LESLIE REMY's Obituary
LESLIE DAYLE REMY, passed away on July 29, 2024 in Gainesville. Leslie was born November 13, 1953 in Chicago, IL to Richard and Shirley Rachlin Cole.
She wanted to leave a legacy, and she did. She was kind, loving, and always the “cool mom”. She loved helping people and her way of doing this was by being a top producing mortgage loan officer and helping thousands of people get into homes they love. She worked in the Mortgage business for over 40 years, never wanting to retire.
Leslie loved the beach, and especially spending time with her family at the beach. Her favorite vacations were family trips to Sanibel Island.
Cooking dinner for her family brought her happiness, and anytime she could babysit her grandchildren made her happy.
She is survived by her Life Partner; Paul Carlin, Children; Lisa McNett and husband Andy, Eric Remy and wife Lesley Einikis-Remy, Joseph Remy and wife, Stephanie. sisters; Anita Sheldon, and Diane Stickel. Grandchildren; Isabella, Hannah, Ava, Michael, and Benjamin
Preceded by sisters; Cynthia Cole, and Bonnie Raynor. She also has a large extended family. Leslie was loved by many, and will be missed dearly.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday August 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the WILLIAMS-THOMAS WESTAREA CHAPEL, 823 N.W. 143 Street Newberry, Fl.
