Les Hale, Jr.'s Obituary
Les Hale, Jr. passed away October 30, 2022 at the V. A. Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Les (Larry) was born June 29, 1949 to Lester and Evelyn Hale of Gainesville. He graduated from P.K. Yonge Laboratory School and Santa Fe Community College prior to serving in the U. S. Army in Germany.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Kent Hale Trickel. He is survived by his sister, Cynthia Hale Gross of Orlando; his nieces Cynthia Trickel Collins (Dave) and Leslie Trickel Scott (Randy) of Orlando; his nephews Bill M. Trickel of Orlando and Kent G. Trickel (Kym) of Brewster, NY; and 10 great-nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his enduring affection for pets, fishing and the Florida Gators.
Burial services will be held at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with military honors.
