Mr. Leonard E. Endicott Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Leonard E. Endicott, Sr., 75, resident of Starke, Florida, died Monday, May 29, 2017 in the Roberts Care Center, Palatka, Florida, following a long illness.
Mr. Endicott was a native of Starke, Florida, born on January 18, 1942 to the late Jimmy and Iva Mae Endicott. He worked as a car dealer his entire working life. Owning and operating his own car lots as well as being a salesman for several local dealerships, including University Chevrolet and Gainesville Dodge. Mr. Endicott loved classic cars, going to car shows and he was a wonderful gardener. He was a member of the Hawthorne Masonic Lodge #103, and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include; two daughters, Carol (Jimmy Ledford) “Sissy” Endicott and Cheryl (Mike) Moore; a son, Leonard Endicott, Jr.; his former wife and mother of his children, Carolyn Hodge Endicott; two grandchildren, Kyle Coggins and William “Bubba” Head, III, all of Hawthorne; a sister, Jean Hall, of Gainesville.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 A. M., in the First Baptist Church of Brooker, 17197 Bradford Avenue, Brooker. Interment will follow in Dedan Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 A. M. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center Palatka, 6400 S. St. Johns Avenue, Palatka, FL 32177.
