LaVerne Marie Spinks' Obituary
LaVerne Marie Spinks, age 76, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025. She was born on May 9, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio to Kenneth and Amy Book Burwell.
She graduated from Westerville High School in Westerville, Ohio and she attended Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.
LaVerne is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Zack; children, Nicholas Spinks (Alison), Cheryl Martin (Bobby), Kelly Spinks; sisters, Linda Seligman, Carleen Mueller; brothers, Kenneth Burwell, Jr., Donald Burwell, William Burwell and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Eloise (Holley) Bebart.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Williams-Thomas Hawthorne Chapel, 22205 SE 69th Avenue, Hawthorne. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. The burial will follow in Hawthorne Cemetery, 23350 SE Hawthorne Rd. Hawthorne.
