Laura Jean Kilroy's Obituary
Laura Jean Kilroy of Gainesville, Florida, age 83, passed away on October 9, 2025. She was born on January 23,1942 in Logansport, Indiana to the late Lawrence and Isabella Liming.
Jean grew up in Logansport and graduated from Logansport High School. She attended Butler University, Indiana University, and Santa Fe College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Cardiopulmonary Technology and worked primarily as a Pharmacy Technician. Jean raised her four children in Indiana before moving to Florida in 1985.
Jean is survived by her husband Rob of 37 years; son Mark (Mississippi); daughter Barbara (North Carolina); and son Scott (New Jersey); as well as multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her daughter Carla.
Jean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Holy Faith Catholic Church.
Per her wishes, Jean wished for her remains to be buried alongside her parents in Indiana. A memorial service will be held at that time.
