My family has many treasured memories with Tommy and the Thompson family. We’ve enjoyed Gator tailgating, football games, 4th of July gatherings and so much more. Tommy lived a fun and adventurous life. We love you Tommy and you will be dearly missed. May you continue watching football and racing with your buddies. What a shame! I first met Tommy at Rotary and then as Co members of the Gainesville Quarterback Club. We both owned Maseratis and I always loved his Ferrari Testerrosa. Tommy was a true gentlemen. It was a real privilege to know him. The world will not be quite as nice a place without him. I am so sorry for your loss. Bill Pokorny.
Tommy recruited me as a Salvation Army bell ringer through Rotary for many years. Who could say no to his sweet smile and gracious requests?! His steadfast dedication to service made our community a better place. He will be missed.
