Kyle Hunter Thomas' Obituary
Kyle Hunter Thomas, Age 17, passed away Sunday June 8, 2025.
Born on October 15, 2007, in Lancaster, California. Kyle was the beloved son of George IV and Mandy Thomas; he was raised in Alachua County Florida and was a recent graduate of Santa Fe High School. Kyle enjoyed family, friends, videogames, dirt bikes, and his Corvette.
Kyle is survived by his loving parents, brothers George V and Charlie and sister-in-law Angela. His maternal grandparents Charles and Nancy Houston and paternal grandmother Donna Thomas. His Aunt Toni, Uncle Stan and many Great Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and extended family members who will miss him dearly. He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandfather George Thomas III.
Kyle was a bright, kind-hearted, and passionate young man who brought joy to everyone around him. He loved his family deeply and formed close bonds with his friends, especially his best pals, Sarge and Gunner. Locally he played soccer for REC ball and schools for 10yrs. He was known for his witty come backs, infectious laugh, adventurous spirit, and a heart full of generosity. Whether it was heading to the springs, camping, or playing videogames, Kyle approached life with confidence and enthusiasm. At a young age he loved riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes from the deserts of California to the trails of Georgia and Florida. After his grandfather passed, Kyle acquired his grandfather’s Corvette. He spent many days/months restoring the Corvette with his Dad and Papa.
Kyle knew he wanted to be a pilot and join the Airforce after he graduated college. He was planning to start college at Santa Fe College in the fall, then transfer to University of Florida. He always wanted the best for everyone and for them to have and reach goals of their own.
A memorial service celebrating Kyle’s life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday June 14, 2025, at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home 823 NW 143rd St, Newberry, FL.

Kyle will forever be remembered for his big heart, his dreams of flying and the love he shared so freely with others. Though his time with us was short, his impact will last a lifetime.
