Kurt William Hentges, age 63 of Alachua died Wednesday, December 23, 2020. He was born July 11, 1957 in Gainesville. He is survivors his wife, Judy Hentges; brother, Eric Hentges (Sue); his sons, Zac Branciforte (Callie), Mitch B Read Obituary
Kurt and I grew up together at First Presbyterian Church. He was one of the sweetest, kindest and most considerate people I have ever met. We always enjoyed seeing each other at Christmas Eve services when we were older. It seems fitting that he passed away at this time of year. I think of him very fondly and will miss knowing he is around.
I was so sorry to hear of Kurt's passing. Kurt was my 1st boyfriend when we were young teenagers. We had so much fun running around Gainesville just being kids. He was always fun loving, upbeat and positive. Sending prayers to all of his family.
Kurt lived around the corner from us and was our favorite babysitter. He was a lot of fun and took us on lots of adventures. I remember how nice his Mom was too. Fondly, Riley Blitch
