Kole "Monkey" Burke Ellingham's Obituary
Kole “Monkey” Burke Ellingham, age 8 of Hawthorne, FL passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at Shands at the University of Florida. He was born March 4, 2009 in Gainesville, FL to Brad Newton and Heather Lei Harper Ellingham.
Kole was in the 2nd grade in Ochwilla Elementary. He loved video games and playing with cars. He loved his brother and sister. Kole loved to smile and he lit up a room. Everyone would say “he was always so funny”.
He is survived by his parents; maternal grandmother, Jana Wells of Hawthorne; maternal grandfather, Lawrence Harper of Florahome; maternal grandmother, Teresa Harper of Interlachen; paternal grandparents, Deborah and Gary Ellingham of Melrose; sister, Kylei Ellingham; brother, Riley Ellingham and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Hawthorne with Rev. Paul Smith officiating. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Shands Children’s Hospital, https://ufhealth.childrensmiraclenetworkhospitals.org/.
