Kevin James Crosby's Obituary
Kevin James Crosby, 71 of Gainesville, passed away at home November 16, 2018 after a brief illness. A native of New York, born in Brooklyn, he lived in Florida since the 70's. He was a Commissioner in the Boy Scouts of America, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the local Ham Radio Club. Kevin retired from the Information Technology Department at UF/Shands.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Sue Ann; a son Keith Crosby of Gainesville and a godson William Kaiser of Connecticut. He is also survived by a large family throughout New York, Virginia, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Florida.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Faith Catholic Church, 747 NW 43rd St. with Fr. John Phillips as celebrant. The family will receive friends Friday, November 23, 2018, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd St. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery, Danville, Kentucky.
