Kenneth Daniel Webster, M.D. (11/18/1936 - 3/22/2025) 88, was born in Akron, OH to Nancy Lou (nee Cummings) and Cordell Hull Webster. Three years later he was joined by his sister, Barbara Jean “Bobbie” Webster, of Akron (5/30/193 Read Obituary
I was fortunate to be an intern at the Cleveland Clinic in General Surgery in 1980. My first rotation was on Dr Webster’s service. He was an excellent GYN cancer surgeon and a genuine, humorous, and nice person. He treated each patient as an equal. I am sad he is gone. His physician’s assistant, Aggie Medric was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I feel blessed to have known both of them. They were a great team.
I just read of Dr. Webster's passing last year and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I was a former patient of Dr. Webster as well as a respiratory therapist at Cleveland Clinic from 1980 -1988. Dr. Webster was not only knowledgeable and professional but kind and caring. He always had a reassuring smile and a cordial demeanor. He will be missed by those who love him, friends and patients who trusted him.

Just read about Dr Webster’s life in the CCF alumni mailing. I was an urology resident there from 1981-86, and remained on staff there until 1993. During that time I knew him as a kind, sincere, and wryly humorous teacher and partner. He dealt with a lot of challenging illness with skill and sensitivity. Its easy to see why patients loved him. His nurse Aggie Medric kept everything on track for him back in those days. They were a great team. Whenever I’d ask him how he was doing, he’d say “oh, about half…” and smile. Nice to see he had such a full life since those days. I’m sorry he had to deal with dementia, but also happy you found each other in life. Sounds like a relationship for the ages.

Ken joined the department of ObGyn Oncology at CCF in 1978.I was the only woman in the department with five male members It was a very toxic & hostile environment Ken was like a breath of fresh air - always respectful & helpful to me
We started DES clinic where we examined young girls exposed in utero to DES. He & I worked together in this clinic for a couple of years. This clinic also helped me create interest in pediatric & adolescent gynecology which became my subspeciality in the deparment later on.
We shared a number of patients & again he was a great cancer surgeon & very caring - patients loved him.
We shared success & failure of our children- his daughter Kelly preparing for Olympics in skating was always a topic of interest While Kelly was away training in Colorado with her mother, he was managing the other kids in Cleveland.
He was always kind, courteous & a wonderful colleague when we were together at meetings of Central Associaion
I have very fond memories of Ken -a colleague at CCF for 22 years.
He leaves a wonderful legacy of a life well spent that I will always honor.

We have been friends for over 40 years and kept in touch since we all moved to Florida for retirement. Ken was a very caring and kind person. He was a most dedicated physician. He greeted every one with that wonderful smile. We will miss our dear friend.

I met Dr. Webster in 2011 when he was a volunteer for his HOA. I was new to the industry and he was incredibly kind to me at a time when I needed it, and I always remembered that kindness.

What a great guy
I met him around 1990 when he and Lucinda first started dating
We hit it off when I told him my bday was 11/17 and his 11/18 and he yelled ‘you are one day older than me’ and gave that engaging raucous laugh
We bonded over sports and the lamenting of the hapless Cleveland browns and his times playing basketball with Lucinda’s father Dante Lavelli a certifiable Hall of Famer wide receiver for the Cleveland browns Ken remarked ‘He was a pretty good athlete’
Kenleys accomplishments were high end remarkable and abundant but I only knew him as a humble fun guy whose engaging laugh and wit kept me involved with him socially
After Lucinda and I talked about his failing health I prayed for him fervently for years abd I’m guaranteed God welcomed him into heaven with loving arms

I had the pleasure of meeting Ken about thirty years ago shortly after he and Lucinda started dating. An early on vivd kinetic memory is the evening I saw them on Euclid Avenue at Playhouse Square. Ken gave me a hug and literally lifted me off my feet and gave me a swirl - I can feel it to this day. His infectious smile, his generous spirit, and his love of life touched all who knew him. Ken leaves a trail of beautiful memories.

Dear Lucinda & Family of Ken Webster,
I had the privilege of working with Ken as his Financial Advisor for over 20 years. He was a loving husband to Lucinda, a proud Father, and a beloved family man. It was always fun, and a pleasure to call Ken. we would talk about his portfolio assets, but always made time to share funny stories, or hear the latest about his dog Rocky. I don't think Ken ever called me by my first name, David. Ken would always refer to me as "Dr. Peterson", because my initials are DR Peterson. :) He seemed to like referring to me as his Financial Doctor. We had a great relationship, and when I came to Florida to visit Ken & Lucinda, they were gracious hosts for me at a University of Florida football game. I will miss our conversations and laughter, and the funny stories Ken always shared with me.
