Keith Linn Gowdy's Obituary
Keith Linn Gowdy, 68, longtime resident of Hawthorne, Florida, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021, in the Shands Hospital at the University of Florida, following a long illness.
Mr. Gowdy was born in Miami, Florida on April 29, 1953, to the late F. Linn and Gloria Gowdy, and came to Hawthorne in 1985. He was in the specialty HVAC business. Mr. Gowdy was a master Mason and member of the Hawthorne Lodge, #103.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Gowdy; a daughter Tamara (Jeff) Hertlein; one son, Keith Russell Gowdy; a grandson, Jeffrey Dennis Hertlein; a sister, Elizabeth (Terry) Reid; niece, Janette Linn Cantrell and 3 nieces and nephews Jacob, Jessica and Julie; a stepbrother, Michael Kessler along with many wonderful friends.
Services will be held privately.
