Kari Reeb's Obituary
Kari Reeb, age 35, a beloved pillar of strength among her family and friends, sadly left our world on September 21, 2024. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her.
Kari’s celebration of life will be held Saturday October 12, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. at Evinston United Methodist Church, 8505 SE 182nd Ave, Micanopy, FL 32667. All are welcome to celebrate the life of this remarkable woman.
Green burial following for close friends and family at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery, 7204 SE County Rd 234, Gainesville FL 32641.
Preceded in death by Joan Marie Hill, “nana”, and leaving a legacy through her family of two incredible sons, Easton and Parker Reeb, her loving husband, Brandon Reeb, adoring parents, Alison and George Umpleby, caring brother, Jacob Umpleby, and so many more. Kari’s memory will be a guiding light for all who knew her, just as her joyous sense of humor persisted in times of hardship, and her compassion and deep connection and care for her loved ones never wavered.
Kari’s family welcomes donations to family friends, Sara Lynch and Patrick Maher as an expression of love and sympathy instead of flowers. These gifts will support the recovery for their 4 year old son, Jake, who was diagnosed with brain cancer.
