Karen V Shultes' Obituary
Karen V. Shultes age 59, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 5, 2023, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born on October 7, 1963, in Mombasa, Kenya to Coos Jean Louis de Vries and Dona Jean Murray de Vries.
Karen was a warrior; she was diagnosed 17 years ago with cancer. She fought valiantly until the very end.
She loved to fish; she loved her family more than anything, especially her grandsons. She was a member at the First Baptist Church of High Springs.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 36 years Brian Shultes, daughter, Stevie – Lea M. Doyle (Nicholas); grandsons; Benjamin and Samuel Doyle; and her beloved dog Gracie.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Mark de Vries.
A Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of High Springs 20112 U.S. Hwy 441 High Springs, FL. with Pastor Greg Waltermire as officiant. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery High Springs, FL.
