Mrs K. Carolyn Hansen's Obituary
Mrs. K. Carolyn Hansen, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, at the age of 84. She was born in Gorman, Texas, on January 13th, 1941, and carried the warmth and values of her upbringing with her throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert C. Hansen; her father, Woodrow Wilson; her mother, Nina Cummings; her older sister, Francis Carrol (husband Ray); and her youngest sister, Linda McCowan.
A lifelong homemaker, Carolyn dedicated her days to creating a warm, welcoming home filled with love, patience, and quiet strength. For 61 years, she was the devoted caretaker and partner to her husband, faithfully standing by his side through every season of life. In the years leading up to his passing, she cared for him with unwavering compassion, dignity, and grace, an act of love that defined her gentle spirit.
A proud mother of two, she never missed an opportunity to support them. She attended all of their sporting events with joy and enthusiasm, always cheering them on from the sidelines. She was a devoted Christian and a longtime member of Jonesville Baptist Church, where her faith, kindness, and quiet strength touched many lives.
Carolyn is survived by her son, David Hansen; daughter-in-law, Trudy Guettler Hansen; and grandsons, Kevin (fiancé’ Cherina) of St. Petersburg, Casey of Lake Mary, Brian, and Sean Hansen of Oviedo, Florida; her daughter, Kelly Hansen Harris; son-in-law, Eric Harris; and grandchildren, Kelsey Morris (husband Connor) of Frisco, Texas, and Kyle Harris (fiancé Ashlyn) of Newberry, Florida.
Carolyn was known for her generosity, her dependable presence, and the way she made everyone who visited feel at home. Those who knew her will forever cherish her memory and the love she shared so freely.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, at Williams Thomas Funeral Home Westarea 823 N.W. 143 St. Newberry. with a special time of remembrance beginning at 5:00 PM.
Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate a life lived with quiet devotion, faithful love, and heartfelt dedication to those she cared for most.
