June B. Mester's Obituary
June B. Mester, 81, lovingly joined her departed ones in heaven on September 11, 2016. A loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother: June had uniquely special relationships with her family and close friends. She was loved by all for her kind heart and nurturing ways.
June is survived by her four children, Mark, Laura, Cheryl, Debbie and their spouses Jacques and Judy; her nine grandchildren, Daniel, Sarah, Melissa, Michelle, J.J. Gregory, Rebecca, Shauna, Alea and great grandchild, Isabella; sister, Judy; nephews, Michael and Jonathan; step son, Ron and spouse Liz and daughters, Rachel and Emma.
June was preceded in death by her loving husband, Solomon R. Mester.
June will be remembered for gathering her family for Jewish holidays and keeping with traditions and birthdays, listening to each and everyone’s goals and aspirations, she was always there in times in sadness and in times of needing advice. June was a wonderful homemaker who loved to entertain and cook. She loved arts, antiques, traveling, gardening and cleaning. Faith, family, forgiveness and loving one another was what she stood for in life.
We love you Mom, your love will be with us until eternity and all the generations that follow in loving, loving memory, Baruch Dayan HaEmet.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, “today” September 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, with Rabbi David Kaiman officiating. Burial will follow at B’nai Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl. New York, NY 10001.
