I first met Judy when I began singing in Queen of Peace's Choir. I liked her instantly. She was friendly and kind. We talked about our children and grandchildren. Her eyes lite up when she talked of her family. After initially meeting Judy, I bumped into her walking in the Village of Haile Plantation. I don't think we knew at that time we each lived in Haile. I would see her now and then in Haile and of course, in church. I later moved to Raleigh, NC where my children live, but would get back to Gainesville as we still had our condo in the village. We sometimes would see each other at SteinMart's in the Petite Department and would laugh because we both had the challenge of finding clothes short enough to fit; I'm back in Gainesville for awhile, and read in the Gainesville Sun that my friend had passed away. I was so shocked and saddened. Judy was a very special lady. Those who knew her can attest to that. There is a place for her in Heaven, I know. Rest in peace, Judy I will always smile when I think of you. My prayers are with you and your family. Annette George
