Joseph Senter White III's Obituary
Joseph Senter White III, born April 24, 1957, died June 18, 2026. He was the oldest son of Thelma Lou (House) White and Joseph Senter White II.
Joe attended Westwood Junior High and Buchholz High School, graduating in 1975. He attended Valdosta State College, and the University of Richmond (VA) where he graduated with a BA in Political Science in 1979. He went on to attend Florida State University receiving his master’s degree in Library Science. He also did a second master’s at Virginia State University in Art History.
He joined the Brotherhood of Masons in 2009, later becoming master of his lodge. He was a volunteer firefighter and Paramedic for Goochland County, VA for eight years.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Judge Joseph S White I, and Lillian (Eubanks) White; maternal grandparents, Albert House and Thelma (Tillman) House, uncle, Albert House, aunts, Pauline Pates(House) and Dorothy House, mother, Lou (House) White Delany, father, Joseph S. White and stepfather, Allen Y. Delany.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Robertson White; brother, Stewart B. White of Canton, GA; cousins, N. Rickard Frisbie of San Mateo, CA and his son, Drake; William A. Frisbie of Cary, NC and his children, Luke, Charlotte and Noelle Frisbie; Richard House and Susan House Wade.
Memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church at a later date.
