Joseph Peter Camacho's Obituary
Joseph Peter Camacho, 86, of Miami passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Archer. He was born April 16, 1930 in Trinidad, St. Joseph to Charles and Rosalind Gonzalez Camacho. Joseph was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a man so full of energy, life, and laughter, and a man of true honor, and a great role model for all who knew him. He was a founder of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jackie; three daughters, Suzanne O’Connor, Karen Lucky, Melania Dugan; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Natasha, Shane, Shaunna, Shannon, Nicholas, Chelsey, and four great-grandchildren, Brianna, J.J., Michael, Jr., and Zachary.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Faith Catholic Church with Fr. John Phillips as celebrant. A mass will be held in February at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
