Johnny Clifton Boone's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our father Johnny Clifton Boone, who passed away peacefully at his home on Feb. 23, 2026 in Starke, Florida at the age of 82.
He was born in Gainesville, Florida, March 16, 1944 to Johnny Senior and Dorothy Boone. He served our country for three years and fought in Vietnam. He later became a diesel mechanic for many years. He loved sports cars and had a passion for NASCAR.
He is survived by his companion of 10 years Joyce Ramey, former wife, Diane Jones, and the mother of his children, Peggy Greene. His sons Johnny and Barbara Boone, and Kenneth and Tammy Boone. Five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Johnny Senior and Dorothy Boone and sister Joye Boone.
A Private ceremony for immediate family will be held graveside.
Though we grieve deeply, we celebrate and honor a life well lived. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8.
