Johnnie Louise Davis Wright's Obituary
Johnnie Louise Davis Wright, age 87, of Newberry passed away August 18, 2017 at Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton. She was born January 2, 1930 in Hazelhurst, Georgia to Frank and Clyde Davis. She loved cooking for her family, bowling, and spending time gardening and fishing.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, George Wright; sons, Dick (Julie) Wright of Ocala and Mark (Jessica) Wright of Trenton; grandchildren, Rod (Laurie), Matt, Cade, and Jenna (Brian), and great grandchildren, Thad, Caleb, Cole, and Ty. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jenny Rucker, and was the last living of 9 siblings.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Newberry with Pastor Jack Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Newberry Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions in Johnnie’s name to Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center, 606 NE 7th St, Trenton, FL 32693.
