JT was my neighbor in Syosset NY for many years..He was a nice guy, always personable and caring. Later in life when he moved to Gainesville FL I saw him at my Dads funeral. His mom and dad were good friends with my mom and Dad. They all retired to Gainesville. JT went to both my parent’s funerals and we caught up about our lives. He was always a friend to our family. We were friends from 5 to 65. We were eachothers shoulder to lean on. He was the one I'd call when I couldn't remember a name or place from our childhood. No one to share memories with now. I'll miss you forever till I get there my friend. So glaf ljr last words to eachother were " I Love You"
Sorry to hear this, and condolences to the family. John worked with me on a small gig with an ISP start-up in the late 90's, he was always competent, helpful, and cheerful, a good man to be around.

My husband worked with John at the hospital. I worked there too, but I was also treated there for cancer. When John would see me at the hospital, church, or grocery store, he always asked how I was doing, and spent a bit of time filling me in on what was going on in his life. I always felt like he genuinely cared about how I was doing. He was so incredibly proud of his daughter, and her accomplishments, and he "lit up" when he spoke of her! I will miss seeing him.
John was one of the kindest human beings we have known. He was a wonderful friend, raised an amazing daughter, and will be remembered with love forever. Our deepest condolences to Katie and to John’s brothers, Skip and Chip.
