I knew Verne in recent years from my work for Oak Hammock clientele, and found him very humble and decent, reminding me of my father and his generation. He didn’t let on about his work for BH and WB. I admired how he visited his wife in a care center every day. Their children must be very proud, and feel fortunate to have had parents like them.
