My name is Joyce Walters Carr and I graduated from high school with Buddy. He was the life of the party everywhere he went. He came to Tifton to attend our 55th class reunion which was to begin at 5:30. He called me about 3 that afternoon trying to find the place we were meeting. We had a nice chat and fully expected to see each other at 5:30. However, he became ill before then and was unable to come and called me the next morning to explain his absence. Everyone was asking at the reunion "Where's Buddy Tucker?" I said he's in town and should be here any minute. It just wasn't the same without him. We will now forever miss him!
I first met John when I stopped to pick grapes. Before long a friendship developed and
soon that friendship extended to Dan. John was a wonderful friend and will be sorely missed. I give my condolences to Dan and the rest of their family, I know there will be a hole there for some time to come.
