I remember the first time when Joel and I really talked at Gatorz. He was telling me about Cindi and the boys. He couldn't wait for them to get down here to be with him. He has always been about family. He told me how much I was going to like his wife because we were so much alike. Joel considered everyone family. I enjoyed our nights of doing fireball shots.
He had lots of bowling knowledge that he was teaching all the time. I am going to miss learning from him. Mike and I will do all we can with Cindi and the boys to make sure Gatorz continues to grow. I'm going to miss you my friend. Rest in peace until we meet again. Love You!

I met Joel back at Denbigh Lanes. Such a goofball who always made me laugh. He grew into a man who loved his family and loved the game of bowling. My heart is breaking for his family left behind. Rest In Peace Joel. You will be missed..

Its a day before your service my friend and I still am at a loss for words. Your time was to short but you left an impact on many who met you. You were a man of few words, but I enjoyed our bantering back and forth when we would laugh at the silly things life would throw our way. Your knowledge of bowling lanes amazed me and proves you had a passion for what you did. I will miss our talks about your family (Cindi and kids), especially when they frustrated you, because no matter what we always turned it into laughter (sometimes disturbing but still a laugh). I knew of your pride in your family when you would talk about there accomplishments. I know you had more plans for Alley Gators and worked hard for the bowlers here, and we all should be grateful. We will help Cindi see your unfinished plans through. If I had known I would not talk to you again, we would have had one more laugh at the expense of our wives while looking over our shoulder to make sure they weren't to close to hear. Thanks for all you taught me, the laughs you brought me, and the friendship we had (even though it was way too short). Lian and I will have a shot of "fireball" in your honor sir.

I met Joel when he came to work at Village Lanes in Gloucester, a friend who you could count on who loved his family. He will missed and I had enjoyed working with him and all his help. I will always remember his smile, his willingest to help. RIP my friend. Hugs and prayers to Cindi and his family. A life gone to soon......

Joel was one of oldest and dearest friends in this world. I have so many wonderful memories of bowling, family BBQ's, parties. And the list goes on. And he went on to marry my very best friend, Cindi. <3 <3 <3

Joel was a wonderful man. He was like a second father to my sister, he promised my dad he would look after my sister if anything happened to my dad and when my dad passed away joel never failed on that promise he was a very caring And hard working man he loved his wife and kids so much! Joel I remember the first time I met you that February when you and Cindi were dating. Boy was it cold and snowy and you came out in shorts. Ever since that day over 20 years ago you became a big part of my life. You and Cindi have always been there with open arms. I love you and will miss you terribly. Joel, from the moment I met you I could see you were a great guy. Then I met your family and could see why. The love you all have for each other is so genuine. I enjoyed so much bringing you in extra food because I don't know how to cook for two. You always enjoyed every dish. I will miss that but will continue it for your family. Rest in peace knowing they have many, many friends who will be there for whatever they need. Glad I got to know you.
