Jocie Lu Suggs' Obituary
Jocie Lu Suggs went to be with Jesus on August 11, 2021, at Shands Children’s Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. She was born on July 22, 2021, to proud parents Chris Lendon Suggs Jr. and Candace Brown Suggs of High Springs, FL.
Jocie Lu is survived by her parents as well as her fur-brother, Nugget. She is also survived by her loving grandparents Lendon & Sharon Suggs, and Sam & Glenda Brown; her aunt and uncle Missy & Matt Dabbs, her cousins Jonah and Elijah Dabbs, as well as countless other family and friends.
Jocie was adored and prayed for by so many across the world. She captured the hearts of her nurses, doctors, and other medical staff that were able to meet her.
She was wanted, loved, and cherished.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 5:30 P. M., at the University City Church of Christ, 4626 NW 8th Avenue, Gainesville. The family will receive friends for one hour prior, beginning at 4:30 at the church. In lieu of flowers, please think of Jocie Lu as you make a donation of time or money to the Children’s Miracle Network and Shands Children’s Hospital.
