Joanne Ritacco Scavone's Obituary
Joanne Ritacco Scavone passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida, surrounded by love.
She was preceded in death by her best friend, Raymond J. Scavone Sr., and leaves behind a legacy of family and cherished memories. Joanne is lovingly remembered by her children, Raymond J. Scavone Jr. and Michele Scavone Stone; her daughter-in-law, Celeste Scavone; her son-in-law, Andy Stone; her five grandsons, Raymond, Christopher, Nicholas, Andrew, and Sam; and three great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Kennedi, and Maddison.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 11:30am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Gainesville, Florida.
Joanne’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace in the embrace of God’s love.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Special Olympics North Central Florida or Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida.
