JoAnn Boka Ford's Obituary
JoAnn Boka Ford, age 78, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 in Brooker, FL. She was born November 27, 1937 in Williston, FL to Joseph and Anne Russell Boka. Mrs. Ford was a hairdresser for many years and owned her own shop, The Classic Cut. She attended Countryside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Hobie” Ford, granddaughter, Danielle Giesler, and a sister and a brother. She is survived by her children, Connie Giesler (Louis) of Archer and Cathie Thomas (Dwight) of Brooker; sisters, Martha Braddy of Americus, GA and Linda McCrimmon of Melrose; five grandchildren, Amanda James (Glen), Olivia Griffis (Matthew), David Giesler, Lance Thomas (Alyssa), and Daniel Giesler, and four great grandchildren, Kate and Luke James, and Caleb and Joshua Griffis.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, with Rev. Bill Keith officiating. Burial will follow at Countryside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
