Joann McLeod Brown's Obituary
Joann McLeod Brown, 62, resident of Gainesville, Florida, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in the Shands Hospital at the University of Florida.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born April 10, 1952, daughter of the late Joe Yoest and Grace Mingone Dondero. Joann had lived for many years in Hollywood, Florida, prior to moving to Gainesville in 2004. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Norbert Brown; sister, Nancy Weaver of Ocala; brother, Edward (Karen) McLeod of Gainesville, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will be celebrating her life in a private service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the charity of your choice.
