Jimmy L. Walker's Obituary
Jimmy L. Walker, 61, of Alachua, Florida passed away on October 18, 2024.
Jimmy was born December 17, 1962, in Atlanta, Georgia to James L. Walker and Betty L. Perkins Walker. Jimmy was the most honest and loving Christian man. He had a heart for people, and it showed both in his personal life and his work life as a retail manager and in the field of customer service. He was very involved in Canvas Church where he recently graduated the “Man of Honor” program. Faith and family were the most important things to him.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Gladys, two stepsons Joshua C. Nunez, and David R. (Daniela) Nunez, his sister Regina (Jerry) McCracken, niece Maddison McCracken, three granddaughters Adriana, Sofia, and Lucia Nunez, his Godmother Joyce Garmon, his beloved dogs Koki, his little princess, and Mr. Nuka, and Alohi, as well as many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Canvas Church, 15551 NW US Highway 441, Alachua
