My condolences to my sister Pam and his sons - my nephews Curt, Craig and Jason and their families. While Jerry has been out of my life for many, many years I can still recall some fond memories. From a narrow perspective of a teenager 50 years ago he was fun to be around and always seemed to enjoy being with people. He knew his way around cars and trucks and I remember(?) him working at the House of Seat Covers - which is where I learned about rolled and pleated seat covers. I know he is must have been proud of his sons who I know are very personable and have carved out a successful life for themselves. Rest In Peace Jerry.
I remember when the Brown family moved on Deziel Street in St Clair Shores. Motown music was popular then... Jerry may have been in his late teens... This whole family was an asset to our neighborhood. Everyone was always kind. Jerry melt my heart evertime I saw his face.. I was probably 15.. .lol. He looked like Elvis to me back in his younger days... He definitely had me at Hello..lol. I'm glad we remained friends through the years. Im really sad and shocked he is no longer with us... I enjoyed our stories that we shared on Facebook, especially when we discussed our pet companions. Jerry loved his Oscar with his whole being. I can picture them together now with smiles on their faces . I hope your at peace Jerry and I'll see ya later
