Jeanne Krieck's Obituary
Jeanne Graveline Krieck, 89, longtime resident of Gainesville, Florida, died on Saturday, April 10, 2021 in the E. T. York Hospice Care Center, Gainesville, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Krieck was born on October 30, 1931 in Waterbury, Connecticut, one of eight children born to the late Albert and Gertrude Graveline; she was raised in Connecticut and moved to Gainesville in 1964. She worked for many years as bookkeeper and a homemaker; a longtime member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, she was involved in many ministries of the church, including the St. Elizabeth Circle. Jeanne enjoyed bowling and reading, but most especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William J. Krieck; three daughters Darlene Erdman and Joanne Rogers, both of Gainesville and Belinda (Gary) Waters, of Highlands Ranch, CO; two stepchildren, Scott (Linda) Krieck, of Webster, FL and Lori (M’Lu) Krieck, of Riverview, FL. Five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
