Jean Gilliland's Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Jean Gilliland on November 14, 2023. She was raised and lived her entire life in Lochloosa. Jean loved and lived life to its fullest and had many family and friends in this close-knit community. She loved fishing, hunting and travels to the mountains.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mary Lois Cassels and Eugene “Judge” Cassels, her only child, Casey Gilliland Strickland.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, husband, Kindell Gilliland and her only grandchild, Kindell James Strickland; son-in-law, Jamie Strickland; her sister, Diane (Jimmy) Dees; nieces, Crystal (Daniel) Clements, Melissa Dees; great niece and nephews, Sierra, Ryan and Brent; aunt, Robyn (Ed) Higgins along with many more cousins and family whom she loved dearly.
Memorial services will be held, Tuesday, November 28, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Hawthorne with Pastor Dan Blasiole officiating.
The family request friends wear casual attire.
