Jane A Davis' Obituary
Jane A. Hanna Davis, age 83, of Barnwell, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 12th, with her loving husband, Tom, by her side.
Jane was born on September 24th, 1941, in Rock Springs, Maryland, to Ida Rose McBride and David Barnett. She was raised in Philadelphia, PA. Jane was associated with the Salvation Army there, then she moved to Camden, New Jersey, where she sold Stanley Home Products, served as a devoted Girl Scout Troop Leader, and cared lovingly for her father-in-law, Lester “Les” B. Davis.
In 1981, Jane moved to Ocoee, Florida, with her husband and father-in-law. She worked as a pharmacy technician for Publix and Rite Aid for over 10 years and was a proud member of the Orlando Chapter of the Eastern Star in Orlando, FL.
Jane’s life was defined by her caring spirit, dedication to family, and the countless ways she touched those around her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Thomas W. Davis; her daughter, Linda Anderson; her son, William “Bill” Mikulski and his wife (Beverly) of Gainesville, FL; her sister, Patricia Jubb, of Audubon, NJ; her brothers, James (Angela) Hanna of Williamstown, NJ; and Hillary Mark Crouse, of Sebring FL; Grandchildren, Katie, (Paul) Surinski of Toms River, NJ, Tiffany, (Carl) Jubb, of Audubon, NJ; and Tina (Brett) Mitchell, of Melbourne, FL Jody (Brock) Gamble, of Shippensburg, PA; Brittany Foose of San-Antonio TX; Misty (Jason) Action of Marietta, GA; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Mariah, Dwayne, Brianna, Kylie, David, Ridge, Cameron, Payton, Zander, Aundrea, Kendall, Zach, and Heavin; and great-great-grandchildren, Nico, and Camden, the child.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Lester “Les” B. Davis; her Mother, Ida McBride, her Step Father George McBride, her son, Wayne A. Mikulski; grandson Joey Mikulski; son-in-law Robert “Rob” Foose; sister-in-law Debbie Crouse; brother-in-law Allen Jubb; and granddaughter Sherri.
A celebration of Jane’s life will be held on November 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Williams Thomas Funeral Home, West Area, 823 N.W. 143rd Street, Newberry, Florida. Pastor Tom Nelson will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
