Jamie Renee (Shelton) Ferguson's Obituary
Jamie Renee (Shelton) Ferguson passed away peacefully at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the age of 38 years. She was born October 24, 1979, in Little Rock, Arkansas to James Randal Shelton and Judith Anna Ball. She was a 1998 graduate of North Little Rock High School and was President of the Deca Club. She married Christopher Allen Ferguson on August 12, 2007, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and they celebrated their 10th-anniversary last year. She built a career at US Bank to the branch manager and advanced to BSA Compliance Officer at Eagle Bank. In 2009, Jamie and Chris moved to Florida to fulfill their dreams of living at the beach. After giving birth to Dylan on October 22, 2012, Jamie dedicated her time to being a full-time mother. Her love for her family was steady but was especially close to her grandmother Vada Shelton.
Jamie's smile was contagious, and she was able to make a positive impact on many lives. She was a beautiful mother, wife, daughter, and granddaughter. Jamie will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 10 years, Chris and her 5-year-old son, Dylan. Jamie will also be fondly remembered by her mother, Judith Ball, Grandparents, Vada Shelton and Jimmy Mcilvain, and Bettie Chism Ball. Her aunts and uncles Darlene and Mike Shelton, Terry Shelton, Lisa and Tommy Brady, Kathy Ball and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
