James Pink Tucker's Obituary
James Pink Tucker, age 88 of Micanopy, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 11, 2015. He was born February 20, 1927 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida to the late Junior Allen and Bertie Mae Mills Tucker. He was a WWII United States Navy veteran. In 1949 he met the love of his life, Antoinette Sarnella, in South Florida. James worked as a crane operator all of his life and was owner of C & P Contracting, Inc. In his free time he loved fishing, bowling and golfing. He was an amazing Dad, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Antoinette M. Tucker; children, James Craig Tucker (Edwina L.) and Pamela Tucker Morgan (Brice); brother, Frank Tucker; sisters, Tressie Jordan and Ruthie Murray; grandsons, Daniel (Tabitha), David, Cory (Ashley) and Ryan and great granddaughters, Katelyn, Alyssa, Bel and Kaia.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, with Pastor Buddy Cranston officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street,
