James Douglas Lee 79, of Hawthorne ,Fl passed away July 18, 2024 in Gainesville.
James was born in Chile and moved to Hawthorne as a senior in high school. He married his high school sweetheart, Ethel.
James went to work in the sheet metal industry. He opened Lee’s Sheet Metal in East Palatka. James was an outdoorsman enjoying farming, hunting and fishing.
James is preceded by his wife Annette Lee, son Joseph A. Lee, father, Gordon Walter Lee and mother, Eilleen B. Lee.
He is survived by his Daughter, Angela Lowe of Hawthorne, grandchildren; Miranda (Ryan), Brayton (Kendell), Brandi, Brittany, Brandon, Taylor. He is also survived by loving great grandchildren and nephew, Deon Olitsky
Graveside services for James Lee will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024 10:00am at Townsend Cemetery with Pastor Danny Townsend officiating.
