James (Jim) Eugene Cellon's Obituary
James (Jim) Eugene Cellon, age 75 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He was born in Gainesville, FL on August 11, 1947 to DM and Mildred Cellon.
Born and raised in Gainesville, Jim was a graduate of Gainesville High School, Class of 1965 and remained a resident of Gainesville until his retirement from Gainesville Regional Utilities in January 1997. He then retired to Keystone Heights, FL to fulfill the dream of living on a lake. Jim was an avid hunter and Gator fan. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Carole Anne; daughter, Christina Waterhouse and husband Brett; son, Christopher Cellon and wife Tiffany; parents, DM and Mildred Cellon; brother, Don Cellon and his wife Tootsie; granddaughters, Breanna and Megan Waterhouse; grandsons, Cody and Garrett Cellon; sister-in-law, Nancy Ingalls; niece, Kim Briede and her husband Steve; nephews, Paul Cellon, Roy and Alan Mizell.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Craig Cellon.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near La Crosse. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
