Never worked directly with Sgt Bigler but often saw him at the end of our shifts. Always joking and smiling with his squad and fellow officers, could never figure out how he managed to keep such a great attitude. Rest In Peace Sarge!

Condolences to the family. Sgt Bigler was always a great guy to work for and with; “A Cop’s Cop”. Always good to the K9 Squad.
Will always miss him. RIP Bigs

A man who had a constant smile and never ever had a bad word for anyone. Thoughts and prayers.

He was my friend, big brother, confidant, my buddy. I will miss you
Jim and I worked together for twenty five years. As our friendship grew we became close family friends. I will always cherish his friendship.

It's been 50 years since the last time I saw Jim, we were next door neighbors in the dorm at Notre Dame. As several people have already mentioned, when I visualize Jim in my mind's eye the thing that always stands out is that great big infectious smile. I never saw Jim have a bad day. What makes me sad is that for all these years Jim and I lived only a few hours drive apart and each never knew the other was there. Rest easy old friend.

What a smile that lit a room up. He loved his family. Smile was even bigger when seeing his wife and son.
What a pleasure to have him at Harbor Chase. He will be missed!
I pray for his wife an son through this difficult time. God's mercy an grace will keep you!

My greatest memory, is how his smile lit up the room when mentioning his loving wife and son. You could feel the love, through and through.

Fondly remembering our "growing up " years in Hilton. Ann and I never left but always looked forward to Jim's return visits and the tales he had to share concerning his Miami-Dade career.
