I knew him as J T we started School together In 1945 He was 17 days younger than me him and I was born about 3 or 4 miles apart him in Beckhamtown me in Rex. The last time I seen J T was when he sold insurance in Palatka I don't remember what year. I know he will be missed by everybody that knew him.I'm so sorry for his family.

Mr Jake was a good respectful person I met him at Univ of FL while working with Mrs Judy and playing softball with his daughter Cathy.
Whenever He saw me I would make him laugh because of myFunny jokes I use to tell him. Those were the days seem like yesterday there he is with that big grin on his face.

Sending prayers and condolences to Jake's family. I worked with Jake at the VA for many years. Not only was he a good friend he was a pleasure to work with. He always made time for me and was helpful in making my job easier. The world need's more people like Jake. A true gentleman, hard worker and all around great guy! Rest in Peace my friend.

Sending heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Beckham, Cathy, Chris and the extended family.... Mr. Beckham and I crossed paths when he worked at the VA. I remember him as always so very kind and incredibly helpful. He always had a smile on his face.
My son, Robert, an avid gator fan, would often talk about the amazing, hilarious adventures with this gracious family who always opened up their home (and kitchen) as well as extended invitations to out-of-town GATOR games. He said to me one day, "I'm sure you know Mr. Beckham, as he works at the VA"...
Well, of course. What a small and beautiful world :)
