On behalf of the staff and volunteers at the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings farm, our deepest sympathies go out to Dale, Jeremy and the Roberts family.
I had the pleasure of working with Jacqui at the farm for so many years. She always brought her enthusiasm, 'can do' attitude and that gorgeous smile every single time she came to volunteer in the garden. It was an honor to have such a talented Master Gardener bring her knowledge and love of nature to share with us.
Jacqui was a joy to be with. Always ready with a hearty laugh and upbeat demeanor, we looked forward to her volunteer days with relish. She was quick to share her love of reading, and often recommended books to us that she had enjoyed. She had an in depth knowledge of all things related to MKR and her work, especially regarding the observations of the flora and fauna of Florida.
Personally, I will always remember her genuine warmth, easy going outlook on life, and upbeat nature. I loved Jacqui very much.
