Jacqueline Dawn Yates' Obituary
Jacqueline Dawn Yates, 79, of Oviedo, FL died March 9, 2020 at her home, following a long illness. Mrs. Yates was born October 11, 1940 in Dixie County, FL to the late Jack Summerlin and Hattie Bell Shore. Mrs. Yates was a lifelong resident of Florida, living most of her life in the Gainesville area. She worked lovingly as a homemaker most of her life. She was married to Gene Nolan Yates who died in July 2019. Together, they had one son and six daughters. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Yates was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Yates and a sister, Helen Dampier.
She is survived by her children Angelina Summers, William H. Warrington III (Donna), Michele DeJesus (Omar), Angela Smith, Suzanne Zelov (Peter), and Stephanie Warrington-Wright, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, and a sister Doris Garrison of High Springs, Fl.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 13, 2020 at 11AM at Williams-Thomas Westarea Funeral Home 823 NW 143rd St, Newberry FL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10AM.
