Jackie M. Hankins was born February 28th, 1932. Husband to the late Mandy R. Hankins for 56 years, and his widow-Marjorie Hankins for 15years. He was dad to his four children…Sheila, Jack, George, and Jimmy…and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.
The impact of his life is ongoing. He was a highly decorated Army soldier with 30 years of service and three tours in Vietnam. He was an elder in the church, a scoutmaster, a teacher of the outdoors, a ham radio operator (kz5jh) enthusiast, a man of many talents, and so much more.
