Irene Wroblewski Sapienza's Obituary
Irene Wroblewski Sapienza 92, a devout Catholic, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022, in Gainesville, FL. She was born in Trenton, NJ to Cecilia and Zigmund Wroblewski and was one of 7 siblings. She moved to Miami, FL in 1947 with her parents. In 1953, she married Philip Sapienza.
They were married for over 50 years until his death in 2004.
In 1955 she had one son Philip A., her pride and joy. In 1984 she and her husband moved to Gainesville, FL where they built a home.
She is predeceased by her husband Phil, and sisters Sophie, Josie, Pauline, Lottie, Stella, and Jerry.
She is survived by her son, Phil Sapienza, daughter-in-law Maxine, granddaughter Erin and grandson-in law Shaun, and 5 wonderful greatgrandchildren, Myles, Ellie, London, Isaiah, and Jade, whom she loved with all of her heart.
She was a loving, kind, and amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family and will be greatly missed.
