Irene Elizabeth Miller's Obituary
Irene Elizabeth Miller, nee Perrier and previous name of Mangus, late wife of Shellace N. Miller, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at the age of 83. She is survived by her loving son, Mark J. Mangus, his wife Mary, her devoted daughter, Michele R. Miller, a sister, Mae D’Amato, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews plus 2 cats, Holly & Monty. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillye Perrier (nee Wenige) and Francis (Frank) Perrier, her daughter, Melody M. Diamond, her sister, Naomi Meushaw, and a brother, Charles Perrier.
Irene was born in Catonsville, Maryland in 1938 to her late parents Lillye and Frank. She attended and graduated from Catonsville Senior High School in 1957. She moved to Waldo, Florida in 1998 where she worked and retired from M&S Bank. She loved all animals and has now been reunited with three of her best friends, Dixie, Peso and Angel. She loved coloring, playing poker and gin rummy, true crime documentaries and donating to various charities.
No services are planned, and in lieu of flowers, Irene has requested all donations be given to the American Cancer Society and Alzheimer’s charities.
In Irene’s last words regarding her wishes, she says, “Goodbye to all of those I love, that’s all folks!”
