Inge Anna Austin's Obituary
Inge Anna Austin, 88, passed away August 15, 2024, in Gainesville, Florida. Inge was born in Ketch, Germany on February 14, 1936, to Lydia Muller and Johann Weik. She met her husband, William Dale Austin, in 1956, and later moved to the United States with her husband, and their first-born child.
After moving to the United States, Inge learned English all on her own. She would love to cook delicious meals and bake the best-ever chocolate chip cookies for her family. She also enjoyed the garden.
She is survived by her children, William A. Austin (Charlotte) and Vanessa Eisenhauer; her stepbrother, Peter Weik; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Jessica, and Samantha; and great grandchildren, Avery, Cooper, Charlie Rose, and Gauge. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Dale Austin; and son-in-law, Michael Eisenhauer.
A funeral service will be held Williams-Thomas Funeral Home, 823 NW 143rd St. Newberry, FL 32669, on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 10:00 AM. She will be buried next to her husband at Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to an Alzheimer’s or Dementia Organization of your choice.
