Very saddened to hear the sad departure of Ila aunty. I remember by studying days in Tanga between 1983 and 1985. i used to have my meals there there as had come from Dar was staying alone there. She always cooked lovely and very tasty meals. She always treated me like her son and sometimes would ask me to wait and have my meal after other diners left, so that she could serve me the special dish she made only for the family, so much vivid memories of her linger with me.
